My Galaxy Nexus Setup

I'm doing my best to keep up with the latest tweaks, roms, and kernels for the Galaxy Nexus. After having this phone a month, I thought it would be a good idea to start a weekly post of what I have on my phone to give you an idea of what's out there.

I'm gonna start off with what rom I'm running and then I'll post what kernel I have installed and if you already have your phone rooted, unlocked, and have clockworkmod installed, you just have to download the file from the links to your phone and install through recovery

My Setup:
ROM: Android Open Kang Project
This rom has the most customization of any rom. You can customize the navigation buttons, the lockscreen, the notification bar, and much more. Not only is it highly customizable, but it's very stable.

Kernel: Franco Kernal

For the best battery life and stability, you have to go with Franco's Kernal. He has had a lot of experience building kernels for android devices. My battery can last a full day now without me having to worry about it. This is the most popular kernal out there right now and it definitely deserves its popularity.

Why Google+ Could Replace Facebook

After using Google+ for only a day, I have to say it has pinned the tail on the donkey. The main goal for Google+ is privacy (something Facebook has lacked since day one). When you post a status on facebook, it's there for ALL your friends to see. With Google+ comes a feature called Circles which allows you to put your friends into different groups and share with what group you want. That means when you post that picture of last friday night to a certain circle, you won't be getting a call from grandma unless she's in that circle.
